From Putney village head north, make a right onto River road or start at Landmark collage, head north east on River Road, stop at Chase brook trail, and gorge, for a dip, or hike;

A lovely ride with swimming options, and a farm…
Local traffic only, road closed to cars in the middle – only foot and bike traffic is allowed.
Highlight ending with a waterfall & gorge at RT 123.
RT 123 makes a loop back but has more traffic.
River Road – NH
A nice ride from Walople NH south…

Park at the farm that is closed. Head south on River Road. This will take you back to RT12.
When you get back onto RT12, continue south for about 5000 feet, and make a right onto RT 63. Stop for a Creamy or snack at Stuart & Johns Sugar house. Continue South and there is a second River Road on the right, which goes all the way to West Chesterfield with lots of other smaller roads and places to explore.
