Distance from Bellows Falls Community Bike Project: 11mi
Short 3.5mi trail along the Black River in Springfield, VT. Paved surface, with a lot of walkers
and children. Suitable for all bikes, but slow speeds recommended due to the traffic mix. The
village end of the trail is a bit obscure. It can be accessed by parking next to United John Deere
Dealer on Clinton St, or parking in the Edgar May Recreation Center parking lot and a short ride
on the Clinton St sidewalk (no crossing of Clinton St). The distal end has a small parking lot on
Rt 11, near the Rt 11 and Rt 5 intersection or parking at Hoyts Landing public boat access.
