9.5mi Trail parallels the Sugar River between Claremont and Newport NH. Mostly packed stone
base, with patches of sand. Not recommended for skinny tires due to sand. Tree shaded with
pretty river views and historic train covered bridges. Dirt parking area off Washington St/Rt 103
across from Claremont Center Self Storage.
